HEALTHY COOKING CLASSES

What does “healthy cooking” mean?

We all know that eating right can help you maintain a good healthy body and avoid physical health problems.

But do you know the effect food has on your mental and emotional health?

More and more, research is showing that eating packaged meals, fast food and sugary snacks can lead to depression and stress.  On the other hand, eating raw food, cooking at home and reducing sugar, salt and refined carbohydrates helps improve your mood and lowers your risk for mental health problems.

At Kitchen Remedy, we believe a healthy lifestyle and healthy nutrition are not about strict dietary limitations, how much you weigh or rejecting foods you love. On the contrary, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, stabilizing your mood and maintaining the weight that is right for you.

If you choose whole foods and healthy nutrition, your mind and your body are going to be operating at their peak efficiency.

What our cooking courses will give to you:

  • Valuable information about whole foods, organic foods and raw foods.  Where to get them and what to look for.

  • Learn how to choose and combine foods in recipes and to create tasty, nutritious and healthy dishes for the whole family.

  • Demonstrations of healthy food recipes and practical tips on cooking naturally.

  • An enjoyable and fun time with your friends, family and kids. Bring them all!

  • Yummy samples!

BIG KNOWLEDGE FOR LITTLE ONES

children classes

Cooking classes especially for kids

I did a little experiment and asked children from 5-8 years old if they knew how a tomato grows, or if they knew how a potato grows, or if they knew that a cashew nut is actually a flower and 9 out of 10 said “No“

It made me think. Was it their conscious choice not to know that?  I don't think so. We’re not exposed to that information anymore. But we can easily tell by the color of the bottle on the supermarket shelf what kind of sauce it contains. Weird hey?

Kids are incredibly curious about where foods come from and how they grow. Exposing them to that information is enormously meaningful to them. That led me to create cooking classes especially for kids. Kitchen Remedy Cooking Classes will show kids in a playful manner where real food comes from.

They learn the basics first.  About fruits and vegetables and all the answers to their little “Whys?”

“Why do I have to eat tomato?”

(Because it is red, it has four chambers just like your heart and it is good for your little heart.)

“Why broccoli?”

(Broccoli looks like lungs and is good for your lungs and so on)

A healthy future generation is my passion. It’s everyone’s passion.

It is so often that now in the busy world we tend to buy most of the food from the shops to save time. I put this class together to show you how easy and quick it is to make it at home.
